✔ 1880 EGYPTIAN OBELISK Dollar Masonic Token Medal SC 225 NEW YORK Rulau 63B Listed online as a "Statue & Monument Dedication So Called Dollar 225". Also in Rulau as: NY-NY 63 B. White Metal. 34 mm. Very Rare. Free Shipping included. From the online site: "So-Called Dollars": 225) "The Egyptian Obelisk / Was Transported From Egypt And Erected In Central Park, New York, 1880". Found in copper, white metal, and evidently found in silver and gilt brass, but I have no record of one in gilt brass. The only sale in silver that I have was from Johnson & Jensen sale #12 lot#443. It was described as weighing 17.3 grams. Combining all metals together, Rare. Individually, Very Rare in either white metal or copper. Extremely Rare in silver or gilt.
