1915 Alabama at Pan-Pac International Expo Bronze 'So-Called Dollar'
Several states issued medals in advance of 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco. This medals were issued as one means of raising funds for exhibition purposes and usually sold for . Except for Arkansas' Aluminum piece, all were manufactured with bronze, with a few of those being silver-plated.
The obverse of the Alabama medal featured the State Seal within a circle and the words 'Alabama above and 'Great Seal' below. A single star on each side separated the lettering. On the reverse were printed the words 'Alabama at Panama Pacific International Exposition San Francisco 1915.
