800 Italian Silver Lipstick Compact with Amethyst Purple Czech Glass Cabochon

This is a lovely vintage silver lipstick compact.
The piece is marked .800 purity.  It is most likely Italian and dates from the 1930's.
The case is made of etched silver set with an amethyst purple Czech glass cabochon.  When the cap is removed, a spring loaded mirror pops open.
The case is in good vintage condition with no serious wear or damage.
The original lipstick residue has been left inside for anyone with an interest in vintage shades.
The case measures 2" long and weighs approximately .71 Troy ounces.
