    Description

    Used 1965 Buick 225 or 300 timing chain cover. Casting #1358076. Removed from a '65 300 V8 engine. Cover has been cleaned, glass beaded and outside surfaces sprayed with some silver paint. No cracks or breaks. All threaded holes are good. Couple of smaller rough spots on water pump gasket surface (one is shown in pic #4). Very nice water pump cavity. Some small spots of pitting on outer edges of gasket surfaces for engine block front water openings (pics #8-#9). Water hose nipple on top has some pits. Oil pump gear cavity is super nice with no scratch marks. Please look at all pictures closely as they best show the condition of this cover. May fit and function on '64, '66 and '67 engines, though those each of those years do have different part numbers in the Buick parts book and it seems there's some subtle differences in the shape of the oil pump passageways over all those years.
