It's for you.
Yes, they're real. You're looking at the only two license plates in the state of California that say "
NOKIA
" and are able to be registered to a vehicle. Show up to your next Radwood car show and steal everyone's attention, or simply drive around on the road and boost your own signal.
T
hese plates are currently registered in the seller's name and have been retained for future use with the DMV (they expired more than three years ago per eBay rules).
The plates are in mint condition and have never been installed on a vehicle, so they have zero scratches or damage. Any tiny imperfections that exist are a result of the manufacturing process.
For those unfamiliar with California's license plate laws: there can only be one registered owner of a plate configuration at any given time. These plates are currently the only valid and registrable "
NOKIA
" plates within the state of California, and they can be registered in your name as long as you own a vehicle registered in the state of California.
The buyer will receive:
Both matching California "
NOKIA
" plates (as pictured)
The correct DMV REG17 forms necessary for transferring the registration rights within the state of California, filled out and signed by the seller
No Nokia phones are included in this sale. :)
How the transfer will work:
After the payment has been cleared, the plates will be carefully packed and shipped to the buyer along with two copies of Form REG17 from the California DMV: one filled out and signed by the seller (releasing interest in the plates to the buyer), and one to be filled out by the buyer with their own vehicle's information (the vehicle must be registered in California). The buyer will then be able to take the plates and the two forms to their local California DMV office and register the plates to a vehicle in their name.
Please note that DMV fees of any kind will not be reimbursed by the seller, and the plates are being sold as-is. It is solely the buyer's responsibility to transfer the plates to their name and register them to their own vehicle, if they chose to do so (this is completely optional; the plates may also be bought simply as collectibles).
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for your interest.
