  • Condition: Here's a very nice condition original refinished Mopar 1970s era A, B, E-body small block (318, 340, 360) V-8 timing chain cover, cast # 2951698. This is dated 1972 (see close up photo of date sun). Cover was bead blasted clean to bare metal, then put in an epoxy primer. Nice and clean, with very minimal pitting. Not cracked or chipped, and bolt holes look good . You could run a tap up and own some of the aluminum threads in holes to make sure they are really clean. Please note this style / year timing cover has the timing indicator scale to the lower left (when mounted in car). Back (inside) was left in nice clean, smooth aluminum, and looks real nice good, with no rust or pitting. Paint the outside the color of your motor, and you are ready to go to attach this to your motor. Will be a nice addition to any car / motor it would be attached to.

    very nice condition original refinished Mopar 1970s era A, B, E-body
    small block (318, 340, 360)
    V-8 timing chain cover, cast # 2951698.
    This cover is dated 1972 (see close up photo of date sun, with '72' in the middle of it).
    Cover was bead blasted clean  to bare metal, then put in an epoxy primer.  Nice and clean, with very minimal pitting.  Not cracked or chipped, and bolt holes look good .
