    Ann Arbor Sportscar is pleased to offer a reconditioned used OEM engine timing chain cover for 18GG to 18V MGB engines.
    This timing chain cover uses a rubber oil seal as originally installed on MGB engines – but it can be retrofitted to MGA engines if the buyer prefers the rubber oil seal to the MGA felt oil seal.
    We thoroughly degreased this timing chain cover in our shop solvent parts washer.
    This cover was glass-bead media-blasted to bare metal, prepped, and the exterior was finished with a high-temp grey engine primer.
    We lightly oiled the inside of the cover with machine oil to prevent flash rusting.
    We did not paint the underside of this timing chain cover.
    There are minor dings and dents and light pitting from the media cleaning process on the exterior of this timing chain cover.
    There are no deep cuts, gouges or dents.
    The buyer will have to install a new oil sealing ring.
